Expedition 42′s Guide to the Galaxy – Astro Blogs
Last Thursday three astronauts Alexander Samokutyaev, Elena Serova and Barry Wilmore their Soyuz TMS-14M capsule arrived at the ISS, and together with the three astronauts already present – that’s Max Suraev, Reid Wiseman and Alexander Gerst – they form ISS Expedition 41 If those last three in November and return on 23 November, the new trio Terry Virts, Anton Shkaplerov and Samantha Cristoforetti replace them begins expedition 42 . Hey 42 , we know it from somewhere? Yep, 42 is the answer to the ultimate question about life, the universe and everything, says Douglas Adams’ famous Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy .
