Lenovo N20 Chromebook Release Date
Lenovo N20 Chromebook Review: Lenovo N20p Chromebook with half a hybrid design
Lenovo N20 Chromebook Release Date-Positive (Lenovo N20p Linux have good battery life, with a touch screen and a keyboard that is better than most other Chromebook. Half-hybrid hinges offer additional flexibility to provide high quality video or slideshow). Negative (Many other basic Chromebook with less cost, as well as 300 degree hinges seem pointless and limited, given how many similar systems can be folded back to a full 360 degrees). Important (Lenovo N20p Chromebook is durable touchscreen design with sharp side of the budget, but the hinges of his semi-hybrid feels like look half the size).

Has recently reviewed the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e Chromebooks receive high marks from our firm to design hybrid and touch screen pairing with Chrome OS Google. But, it is a laptop designed for educational use. Built to withstand the rigors of class and a lot more expensive than other Chromebook.
Lenovo N20p chrome comes with a consumer-friendly alternative, and Lenovos first Chrome OS is not intended for business or educational buyers. This slim, lightweight ultraportable laptop that takes the central idea of the Chromebook of low cost, simple clamshell to be used online and add a better keyboard and touchpad of the Chromebook users can use.
In the configuration price of $ 330 with an Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD, please note that N20p still more expensive than many other Chromebooks, which are usually sold at a price of $ 250 to $ 300. For an additional investment, you get the touch screen, still features rarely Chromebook, and the hinges are less flexible than the Lenovo Yoga lines, but more than a standard laptop.
This system will come to the UK as well, and is listed on the website UK Lenovo, but no information available price, but if the price is converted to be around £ 200 As for Australia, there is no price or pricing information is available, but converted the price will be around AU $ 370.
Just like Windows laptop Lenovo IdeaPad line Flex calls, hinges on N20p can fold back through 180 degrees. Unlike other hybrid folding back, it does not go back a full 360 degrees, allowing you to use it as a tablet. Instead, such as Flex, stop, rather abruptly at 300 degrees. Which allows you to fold the screen back to use in what we call the kiosk mode, with the screen facing outward and basic keyboard face down, as a kind of kickstand. Its a bit handy, especially if you play a video or PowerPoint presentations, but not like Yoga hinge, its probably not a feature of the sales system.
Although hinge trick might not get a lot of uses, N20p is one of the better Chromebook we have tested. The body is made with good and slim, keyboard and touchpad are very good for a budget ultraportable (price), and the touch screen, while not useful in Chrome OS like Windows 8, still sometimes useful extras. Yes, you can pay less for a Chromebook, but you will get a little bit too.
Design and Features
A matte black interior connected through a central hinge chunky, to cap covered with a dull gray and Google Chrome small logo on one side, and the glass edge to the top edge 11-inch screen and bezel width on the other side.
Like many ultraportable laptop, the chassis tapers towards the front, helps to feel thinner than it actually is. N20p thickness of 0.7 inches (1.8cm) and weighs 2.8 pounds (1.3kg), thicker and heavier when compared with Yoga 11e by 0.87 inch thick (2.2cm) and weighs 3.1 pounds (1.4kg). It may not seem like much, but in the hand, there is a noticeable difference between the two, and it was clear which one will be the daily traveling companion who is better in your shoulder bag (unless you are particularly prone to accidents, in this case considering the tank-like Yoga 11e).
Basically online operating system gives you access to various web services via the Chrome browser, but little, no more. There are several offline tool for photo and file management, but no ability to download, install, or run traditional Windows .exe file. We have written about the advantages and compromises using Chrome OS computers, and it is most suitable as a secondary PC for those who are comfortable using online tools such as Google Drive, Gmail or other webmail services, Pixlr for editing photos, or Netflix and Hulu for video streaming.
The keyboard on the N20p closely follows the style of Lenovo laptops are more expensive, with a slightly curved bottom edge of the large buttons for typing accuracy and a large touch pad is something Chrome OS could really benefit. The pad is wider than most other chrome, almost letterboxed, which makes you a bit of space for vertical scrolling, but we still find swiping two fingers to scroll down a webpage and two finger tap to right click command and it works well.
Np20 has a specification with size of 11.6 inches and a resolution of 1,366x768 display is bright and has a decent angle off-axis viewing, but the glass edge to the top edge of the front surface invite glare (but also adds a sharp display system). Has a touch screen, but at the same time, Chrome OS is not designed with touch in mind in the same way for Windows 8 (or any other Google OS, Android). It will be interesting to see how Google or Chromebook makers try and adjust the OS to make better use of touch.
Connection, performance, and battery
We still see a lot slower USB 2.0 ports. In this case, you actually get one of each, which is better than some other ultraportables, and with only 16GB internal SSD storage does not like you might need a fast data transfer speeds as well. Having a fast WiFi 802.11ac is a plus, but the idea of fishing out the dongle or a special cable each time using a micro-HDMI port is not attractive especially for us.
Weve seen some differences in the performance of Chrome OS over the last year between a system with an Intel Celeron processor, such as this one, which is slower with ARM chips like Samsung Exynos and faster with Core i3 CPU. Nvidia and Acer inverted basket of apples a little but with the recent Acer Chromebook 13 using Nvidia processor K1 to the average value of the overall performance, but a very good 3D scores (as one might expect from Nvidia).
N20p upper middle has a package in many tests, but keep in mind that a lot of experience Chrome OS will be based on the use of online tools, which are mostly quite light and easy to administer. N20p find it faster and easier to use than some other Chromebook, but many are also derived from the average of the keyboard and touchpad, making less and complex interactions.
One area in which the system performs particularly well test online streaming video playback ran for 8:19, only a few minutes longer than the Nvidia-powered Acer Chromebook 13, and well ahead of Lenovos own Chromebook Yoga 11e, which lasted 5:36 on the same tests.
